Our self hosted email and data marketing software is incredibly powerful and valuable. It needs some technical knowledge to install and set up which we are here to help you with. On this page we explain the key aspects of our pricing and what to expect so there are no surprises.

What is our pricing model?

#V2 software pricing model has two elements,
a) The initial cost of the software
b) Optional payments for further and future software updates

a) About the initial cost of the software – When you order and pay for #V2 software you are buying a specific build or release of the software e.g. Version 0.0.8 Build 001. Once installed you can continue to use that specific release or build without further payment. As part of the initial cost you get access to our download area for software updates and improvements for a specified time period of six months.

b) About optional payments for further and future software updates – we have been developing #V2 specifically since 2017, it is very stable and feature-rich but no software is perfect and any software can be improved. There may also be bugs we are not aware of that come to light when people try to do things we have not anticipated, plus web software is also affected by changes to third party services and core server modules such as PHP and MySQL. To ensure you have access to improvements and bug fixes after your six months download access expires we provide an optional Software Updates Plan

How Does The Software Updates Plan Work?

When you order #V2 today ( 08 May 2024 ) your current expiry date for access to the software download area will be set to six months time on 08 Nov 2024. After this date you will no longer be able to download the software or any further updates unless you have an up to date software updates plan.

Please note: we do not provide access to old versions or releases of our software under any circumstance, it is your responsibility to download and keep a back-up of your software release.

The current cost of keeping your software updates plan up to date is $14 per month. Each payment adds one one month to your current expiry date.

Example: If your current expiry date is set as 08 Nov 2024 your renewal payment is due on or before that date. If you miss a payment or pay your $14 late, i.e. on 08 Jan 2025, 1 month will be added to your current expiry date. In this example your access date would be set to 08 Dec 2024 which would not allow you to download software updates until you have bought your software updates plan payments up to date.

How To Pay

Payment for #V2 is made in two stages

1. A $150 deposit payment made using our online payment processor
2. The balance is to be paid by bank transfer

Why do we split your payment this way?

Peace of mind and to save us both time in the longer term.

Ordering #V2 for your email and data marketing is an investment in your business and we want you to get the best results possible. Our goal is to get you up and running as quickly as possible. By working with you closely from the start, we make sure that your server meets the minimum requirements, the software is properly installed, and, you have the right level of ongoing support for your ongoing needs.

The initial $150 payment starts the process. Email and data marketing has the best ROI when all of the basic requirements are in place and that may involve a need for additional training or support for you, your staff or even external team members. We will help you to put in place a realistic plan of action.

Once we receive your initial payment we will arrange a convenient time for an online meeting to talk about your business needs and help make sure you have suitable server/hosting capabilities so that our team can quickly install the software. If necessary we can liaise with your server admin/support team to make sure they configure your server correctly (please note: we do not provide server admin services).

During our meeting, you may decide that you want additional training or your specific business needs will benefit from or be speeded up by a custom implementation of some of the software functions. If this is the case and you agree, we can start a new project raising an appropriate invoice to be paid by bank transfer. If you don’t want additional help from us that’s not a problem, we’ll invoice you for the balance of the software cost and once paid you’ll have access to the download area. Either way, we will need your server details to install the software.

How long will it take to install your software?

Providing you have a suitable server/hosting, your software will normally be installed and ready to use within 48 hours of payment (excluding weekends and public holidays). We will keep you informed throughout the process.
